Pizza samosa

Ingredients:
  • All purpose flour (200 g)
  • Salt (1/2 tsp)
  • Oil (4 tsp)
  • Onion (1/2 cup)
  • Tomato (1/2 cup)
  • Bell pepper (1 cup)
  • Sweet corn (4 tsp)
  • Mozzarella cheese (160 grams)
  • Pizza sauce (3 tsp)
  • Ketchup (2 tsp)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper (1/4 tsp)
  • Oregano (1 tsp)
  • Chili flakes (1/2 tsp)
  • Black olive ( 1 tsp)
  • oil (for frying)

Preparation:

Samosa Dough:
  1. Take flour, salt, and oil ( 4tsp) in a bowl and rub them very well
  2. Then add water step by step and knead the flour into a firm dough (dough should be smooth and firm)
  3. Cover the dough with a wet cloth and keep aside for 30 min
Samosa filling:
  1. In another bowl take onion, tomato, bell pepper, sweet corn, mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, ketchup, salt, black pepper, oregano, chili flakes, black olives, and mix them well.
Wrapping the samosa:
  1. Take a small part of the dough and roll it out into a circle ( should be little ticker (1mm) and diameter should be ~15 cm)
  2. Cut the rolled dough along the diameter. Pick up one half and brush it with a little water along the straight edges
  3. Take one edge of the straight side, and place it on the other edge of the straight side in such a way that the dough make a cone
  4. Press the corner of the cone to make it sealed
  5. Now fill the cone with samosa filing and brush inside the cone with water and seal it by pressing the edge together
Frying the samosa:
  1. Take oil in a deep pan (oil should be enough for deep fry) and heat it (to check whether oil is hot enough or not: add little piece of dough to the oil and if it floats (with bubbles) on the surface, then the oil is ready for frying)
  2. Add the raw samosa to the oil (not over crowded) and fry it on a low flame until samosa turns into golden brown
  3. Take them out on a plate and serve it with ketchup
