Veggie Burger


Ingredients:

For tikka:
  • Boiled potato (4 pieces, cooled and mashed)
  • Veggies (1/2 cup: finely chopped carrots, onions, capsicum, coriander leaves, chili)
  • Bread crumbs (1 cup)
  • Salt to taste 
  • Black pepper (1/3 tsp)
  • Chat masala (1/3 tsp)
  • Maida(2 tsp) & corn flour(2 tsp) 
  • Oil (for deep fry)
For burger:
  • Burger buns ( 2 pieces )
  • Butter (2 tsp)
  • Garlic mayo (2 tsp)
  • Ketchup (2 tsp) & chili sauce (2 tsp)
  • Green salads (as desired: lettuce, onion, tomato, bell pepper)
  • cheese (2 slices)
Method:
  1. Take mashed potato, all veggies, pepper, bread crumbs (1 tsp) salt, chat masala in a bowl and mix them very well 
  2. Take remaining bread crumbs, salt, pepper in different plate and mix them and keep aside
  3. Take maida and corn flour in a bowl and mixed together with water to make the slurry. Keep this slurry aside
  4. Take the mashed potato and make a round shape. Then coat with bread crumbs
  5. Take this tikka and dip in the maida-corn flour slurry and then again coat with bread crumbs and keep the tikka aside
  6. Heat the oil in a non stick pan and then add the tikka and fry the both side of the tikka until it turns into golden brown 
  7. Cut the bread along the horizontal axis and fry the bread with butter
  8. Assemble the burger: Take the bread and put some ketchup and chili sauce on the bottom part of the bread and the spread with spoon. Then one by one add cheese, lettuce, tikka, tomato, onion, bell pepper, and again lettuce. Then add garlic mayo at the bottom part of the top bread and spread it then cover it
  9. Serve the burger
