Chicken bibimbap (korean mixed rice)



Ingredients:
  • Slice carrot (1/2 piece)
  • Slice cucumber (1/3 piece)
  • Slice mushrooms (4 pieces)
  • Bean sprouts (1/2 cup, washed and drained)
  • Chopped spinach (1 cup)
  • Slice zucchini (1/2 piece)
  • Chopped garlic (2 clove)
  • Slice chicken thighs (100 g)
  • Soy sauce (1/3 tsp)
  • Egg (1 piece)
  • Gochujang (korean chili paste,1 tsp)
  • Sesame oil (1 tsp)
  • Olive oil (2 tsp)
  • Salt to taste 
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Sesame seed (1/4 tsp)
  • Chopped green onion (2 pieces)
  • Korean rice (1 cup)
Procedure:
  1. Washed the rice and then soak it in water for 30 minutes. Take 1 cup rice and (1 +1/4) water in deep pan and cook with lid in medium high flame. When water will boil then turn the gas to low flame for 12-13 minutes (if water did not absorb completely, open the lid and cook it in high flame until water is evaporated). Takeout the rice and keep it aside
  2. Wash the beansprouts and boil it with salt for 10-12 minutes in medium high flame. Drained out the water and keep it aside
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry carrot with salt and keep it aside
  4. Then fry mushroom, bell pepper separately with salt and keep them aside
  5. Heat the oil in a pan and then add zucchini, green onion, garlic, sesame oil, salt and fry until they become soften and keep them aside  
  6. Take garlic, sesame oil, sesame seed, salt, chopped spinach in a bowl and mix them very well and then fry them and keep them aside
  7. Heat little oil in pan  and crack the egg on the pan and then spread salt from the top and fry it and keep it aside ( sunny side up)
  8. Take chicken thighs, salt, black pepper, garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce mix them very well and fry it. Keep aside
  9. Take the boil rice in deep bowl. Arranged all the those fried vegetable and chicken side by side on the top of the rice. Keep Gochujang on the top of the rice. Sprinkle the sesame seeds and sesame oil  then at the top put the egg (sunny side up). ( look at the picture)
  10. Before start eating, gently but firmly mix everything together in the bowl with your spoon
