Onion chutney
How To Make This Recipe
Ingredients:
- Chopped onions(1 cup )
 - Red chili (3 - 4 pieces)
 - Tamarind(1 tsp)
 - Hing (pinch)
 - Chopped Tomato (1 piece)
 - Chana dal (3/4 tsp)
 - Urad dal (3/4 tsp)
 - Curry leaves (1 sprig)
 - Salt to taste
 - Mustard seeds (1/4 tsp)
 - Cashew nuts (7- 8 pieces)
 - Jaggery /sugar (1 tsp)
 
Preparation for onion chutney recipe:
- Heat oil in a pan then add red chili, chana dal, urad dal, tamarind, chopped onion, hing and then fry them until onion become golden brown
 - Then add salt to taste, chopped tomato, cashew nuts
 - Cook for some time and then add jaggery or sugar
 - Switch off the flame and let it be cool down and then make a paste in food processor by adding of small amount of water
 - Transfer this paste to a serving bowl
 - Heat oil in a separate pan and then add mustard seeds, red chilies, curry leaves then fry it till the curry leaves become crispy
 - pour this on the surface of the paste and the chutney is ready.
